UNESCO
International Youth Contest for Peace - 2024/2025
The contest in a few words...
The International Youth Contest for Peace is an initiative led by UNESCO and France Télévisions. It aims to engage young people from around the world in promoting peace and addressing contemporary global challenges, providing them with a platform to express their creative vision of the world.
Countries attending
In 2024, schools from several countries participated in the contest: Belgium, France, India, Japan, Lebanon, Poland, Mauritius, and Ukraine.
The purpose
This contest aims to educate and engage young people in global challenges, promoting peace through creative projects. It provides young participants with the opportunity to take part in intercultural dialogue while exploring diverse forms of artistic expression.
Participants
The participants of the contest are schools or classes associated with UNESCO, sharing common values of peace, solidarity, and creativity. Young people were invited to express their vision of peace through various artistic means.
In 2024, Indi’Azur was honored to contribute to this international contest for the second consecutive year by creating the scented trophy awarded to the winners.
The trophy, designed and crafted by Indi’Azur, symbolizes peace, unity, and solidarity, perfectly aligned with the values of the contest.
The student groups, under the guidance of their teachers, are tasked with representing peace through one of the following five artistic forms: drawing, singing, cooking, comic strips, and cinema.
The different scented trophies awarded to the winning classes are:
- “Drawing peace – the unexpected dove”
- “Peace artisan using comics”
- “Filming Peace – Courage”
- “Sing for Peace – The Scream”
- "Sing for Peace – The Choir"
- “Cook for Peace – Hope”
- “Special Mention France TV - UNESCO”
- “Creative Youth of France for Peace”
- The Scented Awards: “Mon Quotidien d'Actu” and “Marina Picasso”
Indi’Azur’s participation in this competition in 2024 demonstrates our commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace and global unity. We are proud to have created a trophy that embodies these values and allows young talents to shine.

Our past interventions
In October 2023, Indi’Azur was contacted by UNESCO to design a trophy to reward the winners of the International Youth Peace Service Competition. This competition brought together participants from various countries, including Belgium, France, India, Japan, Lebanon, Poland, Mauritius, and Ukraine.
The goal of this competition was to raise awareness among young people about global challenges and encourage them to use their creativity to promote peace. The participants, divided into three age categories, expressed their talents through songs, photographs, and videos, representing peace in various ways.
The scented trophy designed by Indi’Azur was presented to the winners during the awards ceremony on November 8, 2023, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The prizes were awarded by ministers and representatives from the participating countries.
